For Smith-Root, Inc. we are in the final stages of completing revisions of as-built drawings for the Chicago 2B electrical fish barrier which has been operating since early 2011.
Parkin Engineering, Inc. designed all structures for the Chicago 2A Barrier – building, tank, raceway.
Chicago 2B structures were designed by the Corps of Engineers with consultation from Parkin Engineering, Inc. We provided structural engineering for gravity and seismic supports for electric raceway and cooling...

Since April 2010 we have been working with Kokosing Construction, Inc., of Columbus, OH on form travelers for cast-in-place segmental cantilever construction of the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge over the Little Miami River in Ohio. The form travelers were last used on the Galveston Bridge and needed specific modifications for the new bridge cross-section. Four segments have been cast each way on the first pier, and the project has been temporarily put on hold until regional weather conditions...
